There were couple of seals supervising our activities. Later we found that one of them was a little injured. We are afraid that it will not survive

Thursday 8.5.2014
Thursday 8.5. was first rainy day for our team. North-East wind 8-9m/s, temparature 5oC. The evening was misty.
It seems that the wind is blowing from all directions because the waves rise to the islet from every directionArctic tern strugling against the wind in take-offBlackcap, female
We have seen lot of migrating birds on the islet, especially small birds. Difficult to recognize.
Because of the rain we were working mainly inside; installing safety equipments, repairing sauna door frames, organising the stores etc. It’s good to do sometimes also such activities

The day was dedicated to the finishing the gable of sauna. The weather was against us; morning was very misty and windy and we had to work high on the scaffolds.
In spite of weather conditions we got the window and the eaves ready and the scaffolds disassemled just before hard rain. We were really lucky.
